My Gear

Well I don't have huge arsenal of photography gear with me. Here's a list of equipment that I have -

Canon 6D
This is my primary DSLR as of today. I use it for shooting all the different types of photography. It is an amazing camera with excellent performance and image quality. This is my first full frame camera and perhaps the best $2500 dollar spent. I highly recommend switching to a full frame camera for anyone who is interested in photography.

Canon Rebel T1i

This was my first DSLR that I bought about 5-6 years back. Although a beginner's DSLR, this is a good camera and I have made some of my favorites images using this camera.

Canon PowerShot S110 (White)

A Point-n-shoot for all the situations where I cannot carry my Canon 6D. One of the best point and shoots available in market today. Excellent low light performance, shoots RAW and most importantly, fits in my pocket !

Canon EF 24-105mm F/4L IS USM Lens

This is my primary, all purpose go-to lens. My first "L" series lens from Canon and perhaps the most expensive lens that I have as of now (although I have plans to buy another lens that will break this record).  What can I say about this lens... Canon "L" series delivers all the promises - quality, construction, colors. I use this lens as a general all purpose lens.
Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 II Lens

Another master-piece from Canon. I think everyone who has a Canon DSLR own this nifty-fifty, and rightly so. It is a wonderfully sharp and fast lens. I generally use this lens for portrait work.

Canon EF-S 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6 IS Lens

This is another wide angle that came with my Canon Rebel T1i. I don't use this one often anymore. But this used to be my general purpose lens when I first bought my DSLR.

Canon EF-S 55-250mm F/4-5.6 IS Lens

This is a good lens that I mostly use for portraits, wildlife or sometime for pseudo-macro photography. Again - I used it much with my Canon Rebel T1i and I don't use it much these days.

B+W ND3.0 (10-Stop ND Filter)

It is a 10 stop ND filter that I use for long-exposure landscape photography. This is a great little accessory and would recommend anyone who likes to take long exposure shots.

Dolica GX 600B200 Ball Head Aluminum Tripod

One of the best investments I made in 2014. This is now my primary tripod. This tripod has many good features like ball head and reversible center column (a feature that I always wanted). Tripod is light weight, but sturdy enough to carry a full frame DSLR.

Vanguard MG 2 Tripod

I use a relatively simple tripod as of now. But it serves the purpose, so happy with it.
